A Partial List of Benefits You Can Receive as an AASE Member
Job Leads
Post or review open 100K+ job openings. Members post job leads they receive from a variety of sources. They may come from recruiters, the lead may not be right for them or it may be in a different industry or functional area. Our members share these leads so all members can benefit. Over the last 6 years our members have share over 2000 hidden job market leads. As a member you have access to these leads.
Expert Speakers
At each meeting we provide the best expert speakers on a variety of topics. The membership plays a key role in identifying the speakers, so the speakers align with the needs of the members. The topics include social media, leveraging LinkedIn, job search best practices, leadership, business, economic considerations, plus any other topic the members believe will benefit their career.
AASE LinkedIn Group
Our own LinkedIn group exclusively for AASE current and past members plus guests. In this group you will find job leads posted by members, discussions to engage members and numerous articles and blogs to explore. Joining this group will help you connect or re-connect with our membership. This is another great way to develop long-term Level 4 relationships.
Access To All AASE Members
Joining the AASE gives you exclusive access to our membership directory. This directory provides you with the ability to tap into referrals, job leads, the right people, members in your industry, members currently working in companies you want to target, service providers, and a group of people who have walked in your shoes. These members are eager to help others, as they all wanted help from others at one time.
Peer-to-Peer Networking (Don't take this for granted)
AASE is the only networking association in Orange County exclusively for VP and C-level executives. In addition, the AASE meets twice a month, while most other organizations meet only once. We do this because we believe the real results from networking only happen once a relationship is formed. Meeting once a month makes it difficult to accomplish this. We meet 22 times a year. Our members receive referrals, job leads, business opportunities, consulting assignments and even interim jobs as a direct result of these relationships. Few other networking associations can make that claim.
Comprehensive Resumé Review
AASE members can receive a comprehensive review of their resumé by a retained executive recruiter. This is a one-on-one review to ensure your resumé stands out. Many executives don't really know what vital information must be included in their resumé. Many don't understand how resumé management systems search for particular keywords and how with the right review they can ensure their resumé always passes the keyword search. This review is more than $300 for non-AASE members.
LinkedIn Profile Review
AASE members could receive a comprehensive review of their LinkedIn profile by a retained executive recruiter. LinkedIn is rapidly becoming the first place recruiters, HR professionals and hiring authorities start looking for people. If your profile is outstanding chances are they will not call you. Your profile must show you are the EXPERT in your field. This review is more than $300 for non-AASE members.

We have done the heavy lifting for you. For most, the internet creates more confusion than any other job search resource. Many don't know how to find the best resources, use it effectively or find the right resource for the issue they are trying to solve. We track more than 1,000 different Internet sites, blogs, article sites, and other recognized experts in the job search field. We have consolidated all these resources into one location so you don't have search the internet. Whether you are looking for career or job search best practices, articles on resumés, interviewing techniques, how to leverage social media in your job search, networking skills or career management blog articles this one spot has them all.
Comprehensive Job Search Tools and Resources
AASE members can access vital tools needed in a job search. Most of these tools are free to download. There is a repository of audio recordings on just about every job search issue you can imagine. We offer a resumé checklist, job search plan assessment, LinkedIn profile assessment scorecard, sample Cover and Thank You letters and even skills assessment.
In addition, AASE members are first to know about special offerings on products and they receive substantial discounts.
The Best Job Search Videos On The Net
We have watched close to 1,000 videos on YouTube and other sites. As we find the very best we post them in the member's area. You don't have to waste your time watching videos for college students or other videos not related to the executive, we have already done that.
